Peace Lutheran Youth and Children's Ministry is supporting this year's Coldest Night Of The Year Fundraiser to help Cyrus Center - a non profit group that helps youth, under the age 18, by getting them off the streets by providing multiple services to reunite them with their families.
The walk , either 2km, 5km or 10km starts and ends at:
Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly (3145 Gladwin Road) on Saturday, February 24th
Times:
- 4 pm - Registration opens
- 5 pm - Opening Ceremonies
- 5:15 pm - Walk begins (all distances)
- 6 pm - Registration closes
- 6pm - Meal service begins
- 8 pm - Route closes, meal service ends
Between 6:00 and 8:00 pm a warm, light meal will be served to all walkers and volunteers.
We invite you to join the "Peace Lutheran Pedestrians" and walk or pledge your support for our team in the 5km walk. The 5km walk will take about an hour. Pless dress appropriately.
Cost is $25 per person (which is waved if a person raises more than $150 in pledges, or over $75 for youth under 18). All donations and pledge forms must be turned in at the registration desk. All pledges will be issued a receipt.
